Frozen Yogurt Fiasco!!

Okay friends and family, Brian and I need your help!!   Brian and I are a "set-in-our-ways" kind of couple!!  We enjoy eating at the same restaurants, ordering the same items from the menu, and while there's nothing wrong with our same-old, same-old routine, it's fun to get out and try new stuff, and that's exactly what we did!!!  Here's the story......

Picture it....Fall 2008.  Brian and I had eagerly filled out our profile on this new blog of ours.  We tried our very hardest to think of every little thing we showed an "interest" in and when finally we felt satisfied with our interest list, we summed it all up with saying that one of our "interests" was eating "Cherry on Top Frozen Yogurt!!"  A few days later on a beautiful sunny day after reading up on our interests while visiting our blog,  my gorgeous younger sister, Beth, in a warm and nurturing sort of way, challenged Brian and I to try "Yogurtland Frozen Yogurt" instead of "Cherry on Top"!!  Gasp, what was this nonsense she was speaking of?? Well, for a second, Brian and I were taken aback that we could ever disrupt our "Cherry On Top Frozen Yogurt" rut!!  It would require sacrifice and getting out of our "comfort zone!!" It took some persuasion and pumping up, but with great excitement and little hesitation, we set out to put the Frozen Yogurts to the test!!!

Yogurtland vs. Cherry on Top

Both contestants were of equal value!!  We severed up for ourselves heaping bowlfuls of the decadent chocolate yogurt, smothered in strawberries and m&ms, and for a little insentive, a cherry on top!!!

And then it all came down to the greatest of all the testings!!!  From a visual perspective who could have a chosen from the two gorgeous offerings!?!  It would be virtually impossible to decide without.....the TASTE TEST

Friends and Family, this is where you come in!! After much deliberation, mouthful after mouthful of testing, and moments of pure uncertainty, it all came down to.......

A TIE!!!

Brian and I each enjoyed certain things about each yogurt delight, but I was steadfast in my liking of the simple chocolate taste and larger cut strawberries of "Cherry on Top" and Brian was swayed by the rich, hearty chocolate yogurt and cheaper price of "Yogurtland!!" What to do, what to do?!  We hope that our friends and family can give us input and insight on our little frozen yogurt dilemma!!  Which would you chose?!?! You might just have to try both of them to decide between them!!!  Good luck and God speed in your quest for the ultimate frozen yogurt!!!

Hehehe!!  I hope you guys had fun reading this post!!!  It was really fun to write!!  Hehehe!!  Brian's favorite part of this whole "Frozen Yogurt Test" was the fact that inside Yogurtland I was taking pictures left and right, having a great old time, but I was getting really weird looks from the employees and customers!!!  I thought nothing of it and kept right on snapping away, but when we walked outside, Brian noticed that there was a sign (way, way, way down at the bottom of the doorway, I just want to point out) that had a big "X" through a picture of a camera!!  So I was illegally taking pictures of Yogurtland!!  Hahaha!!  Makes for a better blog story if you ask me!!  Hahaha!!

I thought it was so funny that you posted about this because on Thursday as I had the tv on in the background and heard a report on the seemingly recent yogurt popularity. Here is a sort-of link

Well, after enlarging the picture for better viewing and judging by the incredibly great photography and my very discerning eyeballs...it looks like cherry on top gives the appearance of larger servings. Which is gets huge gold stars. However, there is something to the left of the cherries that looks a little pale and square-ish and I don't know what that is... might be imposter strawberries. In that case, cherry on top would be fakers and definitely deserve demerits on that count.

There is my imput and it was very valuable.

I also heard that Karli was the beautiful second sister.

Dude, I will no longer tolerate any of this nonsense about you not knowing about computers or blogs or whatever- LOOK at YOU! I love your post- so clever.
I do NOT like frozen yogurt (can we still be friends??) because it is NOT like ice cream which is my favorite dessert of all time. It tastes too goopy or something. However, I have recently become addicted to Pinkberry (which is apparently very trendy-?) mostly because it doesn't taste like "frozen yogurt" it tastes like yogurt that has been frozen and there is fresh fruit bits to go on top. Hated it my first visit because it is not very sweet, but it was so refreshing that I'm hooked.
Great post. Made me want to comment. Love it. Cheers to illegal pictures!!
